Need a hand with something else?
A virtual private server gives you an isolated operating system and an allocated set of compute resources on physical infrastructure. You get root access to configure your Linux environment and run your own applications.
Spark and Pulse are starting points for smaller projects. Orbit and Vector offer more room for growing applications. Nova, Pulsar and Quasar suit workloads that need more memory and CPU. Your actual needs depend on traffic, software and configuration; contact us if you would like help choosing.
These plans are self-managed. You are responsible for your operating system, software updates, application security and independent backups. Additional management or backup services are included only if explicitly agreed.
Only if you purchase a product explicitly identified as a subscription. A standard one-month plan requires a separate renewal payment. Your product page and checkout explain the billing arrangement before you pay.
Access is supplied after payment confirmation and provisioning. Available operating systems, locations and the delivery estimate are confirmed in your service arrangement. A payment receipt is not a server activation notice.
Contact us to arrange an upgrade and any data migration before purchasing a different plan. For an active subscription, cancellation controls are available in your account. See our refund and cancellation policy for other requests and your statutory rights.
Independent backups remain your responsibility unless your written service arrangement includes a backup service. Keep copies outside your VPS and test that you can restore them.
